XENICAL® is a reversible inhibitor of gastrointestinal lipases, indicated for obesity management including weight loss and weight maintenance when used in conjunction with a reduced-calorie diet.
XENICAL® is also indicated to reduce the risk for weight regain after prior weight loss.
XENICAL® is indicated for obese patients with an initial body mass index (BMI) >_30 kg/m2
or >_27 kg/m2
in the presence of other risk factors (e.g., hypertension, diabetes, dyslipidemia).

How to use

The recommended dose of XENICAL® is one 120 mg capsule three times a day with each main meal containing fat (during or up to 1 hour after the meal).

Saxenda® (liraglutide) injection 3 mg is an injectable prescription medicine used for adults with excess weight (BMI ≥27) who also have weight-related medical problems or obesity (BMI ≥30), and children aged 12-17 years with a body weight above 132 pounds (60 kg) and obesity to help them lose weight and keep the weight off. How to use

along with diet and exercise to improve blood sugar (glucose) in adults with type 2 diabetes.
to reduce the risk of major cardiovascular events such as heart attack, stroke, or death in adults with type 2 diabetes with known heart disease.

It is not known if Ozempic® can be used in people who have had pancreatitis.
Ozempic® is not for use in people with type 1 diabetes.
It is not known if Ozempic® is safe and effective for use in children under 18 years of age.
