Product Description

Salbutamol is used to relieve symptoms of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) such as coughing, wheezing and feeling breathless.
It works by relaxing the muscles of the airways into the lungs, which makes it easier to breathe. Salbutamol comes in an inhaler (puffer).
Salbutamol is used to prevent and treat wheezing and shortness of breath caused by breathing problems (such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease).
It is also used to prevent asthma brought on by exercise.

How to use

If you have taken a dose of two puffs, then you should wait four hours before
taking another dose. You should not take more than eight puffs in 24 hours.
You should check with your doctor or pharmacist about when to use your inhaler and how many puffs you must use each day if you are not sure.
If your usual treatment is not working or you need more than eight puffs per day, please tell your doctor.
You should not increase your dose without consulting your doctor.
